"The Wrong Missy" opens with a horrible blind date between Lakpus' Melissa and Spade's Tim. He is a relatively plain guy. He watches "The Affair," reads James Patterson, and listens to Phil Collins. (This movie has the weirdest pop culture drops.) Missy, on the other hand, is borderline terrifying.
David Spade and Lauren Lapkus in. The Wrong Missy is far from the company's worst offense. The Wrong Missy is a little hit-and-miss, but it's funny and inventive, and Lapkus is good enough to make the word "zany" tolerable again.

Only problem I had with the movie, was the plot, the "wrong Missy" (Lauren Lapkus) was not likable from beginning, and since the real Mellisa "right Missy" (Molly Sims) was on screen, I loved her, and the movie just pushed you to "like" wrong Missy, but i just couldn't. Parents need to know that The Wrong Missy is a comedy in the "mistaken identity" genre. Because there are two women named Missy entered in his phone contacts, a businessman invites the wrong one to a fancy corporate retreat in Hawaii.
